This buckle is true Champleve’ enamel. Copper is etched in a design drawn by Pauline. After the etching, the recesses are filled with transparent glass enamels and fired @ 1450 degrees until “fire polished”. the enameled copper piece is set into a sterling silver setting and backplate. The back of the belt buckle accommodates a 1 1/8″
wide belt. NFS
