The set was created for an exhibition of the Artisan members of the Society of American Silversmiths at the Ornamental Metalwork Museum in Memphis, TN.

Hand constructed with great accuracy by Pauline, of Sterling silver and Nickel silver. A seriously geometric design theme of circles, squares and pyramids, carries through out.  The stripes in the pyramid handles are created by soldering precisely cut strips of nickel silver and sterling silver together with silver solder, creating a striped sheet of metal to them be cut into triangles and soldered once again into the pyramids. It takes a great deal of skill to make the pieces fit and be flawless.
