Sterling silver tea infuser. A lovely example of forming with a hydraulic press. In order to make the two symmetrical halves of the central shape, Pauline used the bending break on the hydraulic press. The cap is a done soldered to a flat piece of sterling silver sheet. The lid hinges onto the body of the infuser. There is a catch in the front of the piece to secure the lid while immersed. The infuser hangs on a hand made chain.
