These items were designed and created for a special exhibition.
The baby cup is fabricated sterling silver with a sterling silver hand raised bowl.
The handle which rattles is made from a mixed metal sheet metal of silver, brass and nickel silver. this process of making the patterned sheet is quite laborious and time consuming. However, the effect is exceptionally unique.
The baby spoon is created with the same techniques, sans the raised bowl. The bowl is formed in a dapping block with a punch. this too has a rattle in the handle.
Beware ! should a child be using these and need for a rattle …
